Strong thermal management is also necessary because transformers generate heat during operation. Proper cooling methods, such as oil cooling or dry-type designs, help maintain safe operating temperatures and extend service life.Safety and environmental protection are equally important. Since renewable energy projects are usually built with environmental responsibility in mind, transformers should use eco-friendly insulating materials and meet strict safety standards. Low noise levels, reduced emissions, and fire-resistant designs are often preferred, especially in urban or sensitive ecological areas. Monitoring systems may also be included to track temperature, pressure, oil quality, and other operating conditions, enabling predictive maintenance and reducing the risk of failure.As the global energy transition continues, renewable energy transformers will play an increasingly important role in modern power systems. They serve as a critical link between clean energy generation and reliable electricity supply.
